DS920 Motor Armature Tester (universal type)

Scope

Applicable to electrical properties test of motor armature with any number of commutator bars, for example, automotive motors, motorcycle starter motors, power tools motors, traction motors, vacuum cleaner motors, fitness equipment motors, motors for kitchens, permanent magnetic micro-motors, special-purpose motors

Functional Features

All test items of an armature, including insulation resistance, AC HIPOT, bar-to-bar resistance and transresistance, winding hook direction, welding resistance, turn-to-turn surge test, are completed automatically at one time;

Enable or disable any test items, set pass criteria; release automatic light or sound alarm upon test result over-limit

Measure the welding resistance accurately to the micro-ohm level; the automatic judgment threshold for armature welding resistance can be set to 100 micro-ohms (ie 0.100 milliohms) or even smaller; discover armature rosin joints and nonconforming welds fast and accurately; the screen provides fault location information to facilitate armature troubleshooting

Unique automatic range switching and test tracking; therefore a higher accuracy than other similar instruments throughout the measurement range. It is not required to set the instrument measurement range as the armature resistance range is not required to know beforehand; even an ordinary operators can sample an armature with its parameters unknown very easily and formulate the automatic judgment criteria

Proprietary bar-to-bar resistance fuzzy sort and identification; automatically identify single-fork, double-fork or large and small bar winding process, and hookup direction; automatically track and test an armature regardless of where it is placed;

Automatic judgment of turn-to-turn surge test between any bars under any form of surge; more accurate identification of turn-to-turn faults in a large number of armatures with significant difference in process

HIPOT, turn to turn surge test voltage settable, automatically generated and regulated; test data immune to fluctuations from external grid; offset the inherent leakage current of test system automatically

Immune to armature high-voltage breakdown ignition in the test process, the instrument can work stably and reliably

Save, edit and call the automatic judgment criteria for armatures of different models or specifications; with no quantity limitations

Powerful data management function; can automatically number each armature, check the test result and graph for each model and armature, and generate statistics reports; reports can be exported via a USB disk

High test speed, standard double-station design, extremely high test efficiency

Upon order requirements, other special functions can be made available, for example: wrong hookup identification, inductance test, resistance compensation based on measured armature temperature, error prevention and correction, etc.
